TASKS:

• Responsibility for occupational health and safety, accident prevention and employee well-being
• Advising and supporting departments in complying with legal requirements and Kingspan standards
• Conducting site inspections, risk assessments, HSE audits and accident investigations
• Developing and implementing HSE policies, procedures and programmes
• Organising and delivering training to raise employee awareness of health and safety
• Preparing for and supporting ISO 45001 certification
• Collaborating with international HSE colleagues to implement best practices

REQUIREMENTS PROFILE:

• Degree in a technical field, e.g. mechanical engineering or production engineering, or completed technical vocational training with further qualification as a technician or master craftsman
• Additional qualification as an occupational health and safety specialist, e.g. FaSi, SiFa or Safety Engineer
• Several years of professional experience in HSE, ideally in an industrial environment
• Knowledge of German occupational health and safety and environmental legislation; knowledge of the German Federal Immission Control Act (BImSchG) is an advantage
• Experience in audits, inspections and risk assessments
• Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving skills and initiative
• German language skills at a minimum of B2 level and English at a minimum of C1 level
• Proficiency in MS Office and IT tools for HSE administration and management
